Former IBF junior lightweight champion Gary St Clair of Australia arrives in South Africa on Sunday, his promoter Branco Milenkovic confirmed yesterday.

St Clair, who was born in Guyana, will oppose Cassius Baloyi for the IBF junior lightweight's final eliminator, which will determine the mandatory challenger to Milenkovic's IBF world champ Mzonke Fana.

The fight is promoted by Golden Gloves in conjunction with Banner Promotions at Emperors Place on November 12.

Milenkovic said the fight was very important to his Branco Sports Productions (BSP) company.

"That is why I am able to dig deep in my pockets by bringing St Clair over three weeks prior to the fight.

"We are working on the selection of sparring partners and I will announce their names next week after my consultation with St Clair's team," said Milenkovic.

He said regardless of the outcome of the clash between St Clair and Baloyi, as well as Fana against the winner between St Clair and Baloyi, South Africa is assured of top class world title fights.
