American singer Josh Groban is turning South Africa into his happy hunting ground.
Following his successful tour in 2004, Groban, creator of the famous song Remember When It Rainedremixed by Sbu Leope, is coming back for his second series of tours next year.
Born in Los Angeles in 1981, the singer kicks off his tour with a performance at the Greyville Race Course, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, on March 16. From there he moves to Bloemfontein's Oliewenhuis Homestead and Estate on March 18.
On March 20, Groban will perform at the Vergelegen Wine Estate, Cape Town, before wrapping it up in Jozi at the Coca-Cola Dome on March 26.
Local fans can look forward to his new album Noël that will be released in South Africa today.
Groban came on to the international music scene in 2001 with his eponymous debut album Josh Groban.
The album is a collection of Christmas songs featuring traditional hits such as Silent Night, I'll Be Home For Christmas and many more.
The album, besides Groban, features Faith Hill and Brian McKnight. Groban has also recorded two songs with Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
His second album Closer was released in 2004.
The multitalented piano and drum player released his third album in 2006 titled Awake.
Groban, riding the waves of global superstardom, has already sold more than 14million copies of his music worldwide.
