The first draw under new operators Gidani Consortium will be taken by Trade and Industry Minister Mandisi Mpahlwa.
Pundits can buy their tickets until just before 9pm when the draw takes place.
There will be a new game show screened every Wednesday night at 9.30pm, immediately after the live mid-week Lotto draw on e.tv.
"Raise Your Game" will be presented by former Miss South Africa, Vanessa Carreira, and seasoned game-show host, Nimrod Nkosi.
It is based on Lotto numbers 1 to 49 and offers a weekly grand prize of R300000. In its first flighting six celebrities will compete against each other and the proceeds will go to charity.
