A nine-year-old girl from Burgersfort, Limpopo, has made South Africa proud by being crowned the new Little Miss World.
Micaela van der Merwe was crowned Little Miss World 2007 in a glamorous event in Antalya, Turkey, last Friday.
Micaela, pictured, accompanied by her mother Mari, and father Tienie, arrived back in South Africa on Sunday wearing the official Little Miss World sash and crown. Pageants SA said they were proud Micaela won.
