A man has been arrested for possession of dagga by police who arrived at a house in KwaPoswa to intervene in a domestic argument, Eastern Cape police said yesterday.

Captain Lingisile Magama said the man and his brother were fighting in their KwaPoswa home and relatives called the police.

"The suspect was fighting with his brother because he wanted to sell rolls of dagga. When the police arrived they could smell the dagga, and while searching the premises, they found 120 rolls of dagga," Magama said. The man has been charged for possession of drugs and will appear in the Dutywa magistrate's court soon, Magama said. - Sapa
