"As the IFP we want to request or demand from the president that we need an explanation as citizens of this country to know what exactly is happening," said IFP national chairwoman Zanele Magwaza-Msibi at the inauguration of the party's branches in the Free State.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) last week confirmed that the Scorpions had conducted an investigation into Selebi. They had obtained an arrest warrant for Selebi on September 10 from the Chief Magistrate in Randburg. A search warrant was also obtained from the Witwatersrand Local Division of the High Court in Johannesburg. - Sapa
