If there is one positive that has already come out of the Telkom Knockout last 16 stage over the week, it is that the future of South African goalkeeping is very bright indeed.
It had been argued at some stage that Premiership clubs are not encouraging the development of local goal minders and were engaging foreigners to the detriment of our national teams.
But, hats off to youngsters Itumeleng Khune of Kaizer Chiefs and Tladi Mathibe of Moroka Swallows for the splendid performance they dished out in the clash last Saturday.
