The provincial 2010 Fifa World Cup Transportation Plan Summit is an initiative of the Eastern Cape department of roads and transport.
It is part of the transport month programme, said Ncedo Kumbaca, afety, liaison, roads and transport department spokesman.
"The implementation of the 2010 Transport Action Plan is well on track, the aim of the summit is to update all stakeholders and public in general about the overall 2010 Eastern Cape transport readiness."
