Manuel did not have the guts to speak to the standing committee on sports to understand the clause about bonuses. Any company has its regulations agreed upon by its members.
My understanding as someone who does not have access to the sponsorship committee is that the league will, upon receipt of sponsorship, thank those who were involved in the negotiations.
The bonuses will not be paid by the sponsor, but by the PSL. Therefore, the proceeds don't constitute bribery. All companies do it to motivate employees.
People like Jomo Sono should not mislead others. They know the committee took the resolution. They should challenge it in meetings, not in public. We cannot deliberate issues in the media.
Manuel should be worrying about all the corruption in the government rather than exposing himself to people he thinks have limited knowledge. I will not be apologetic when our leaders' ethics are questioned.
Youth have lost faith in politicians who spend their time arguing in public rather than doing their work. Youth react to the confusion of leaders who put their noses in their neighbour's business.
