Khoza insulted black people

Allow me to comment on the 10percent commission for PSL sponsorship committee members for deals clinched first with SuperSport International and now with Absa. It led to the man I respect so much - Irvin Khoza - insulting and undermining his skin colour.

Allow me to comment on the 10percent commission for PSL sponsorship committee members for deals clinched first with SuperSport International and now with Absa. It led to the man I respect so much - Irvin Khoza - insulting and undermining his skin colour.

Whether it's true or not that Khoza made the "it's a curse to be black" remark, the point is that many black lives were lost fighting the former white regime.

Before our leaders comment in the media, they should look at all angles and speak responsibly.

What made Khoza make the remark because he is black and his remark insinuates that he is also cursed?

Not every black, poor soccer fan is embroiled in the the commission issue and they don't deserve to be treated this way.

These same black, poor people support and make soccer appealing.

Why doesn't the PSL use the 10percent to sponsor a programme to help teams brand their supporters?

Whatever Bloemfontein Celtic supporters have done since coming from the First Division is working and it needs to be sustained. Celtic are popular because they are properly branded, despite losing a talented player like Siyabonga Nkosi.
