Music lovers in Gauteng can look forward to another music feast this weekend when the Motswako Jazz Summer Sounds takes place on Saturday at the Innisfree Park, Sandton.

The event boasts a youthful and energetic line-up that includes artists such as Malaika, Nhlanhla, Ntando, Zonke, Stimela, Siphokazi, Black Coffee and Sis 'n Jones.

Sama award-winning Afro-pop group Malaika will perform songs from their new album Sekunjalo.

Unlike the group's previous albums, Sekunjalo has not made waves so far.

Female singer of the moment, Siphokazi, with her famous song Amacala that has dominated airwaves for the past four months, will also perform. The album has sold more than 25000 copies.

On the other side, Ntando Bangani who has just announced his return with Uhambo Lwami after a year's break, will rock music lovers.

Those who enjoy getting down will be dancing to the exciting sounds of Deejay Black Coffee who has earned himself a name.

Black Coffee is a respected deejay who has proved his talent since he started playing professionally.

Meanwhile, Mafikizolo's former star, Nhlanhla, will try to steal Mafikizolo's audience with her album Inguquko that is doing well in the market.

Stimela will probably close the show with its energetic performance. They will be performing Zwakala Nganeno and other songs which became hits in the 1980s. The event starts at 9am and tickets cost R150.
