Fans of legendary musicians the husband-and-wife team of Womack & Womack have every reason to be happy because their favourite artists are headed to these shores.

The popular duo, who have a huge following in South Africa, will perform in Carnival City in a concert called the Love Connection Concert.

The concert, which is in support of the 16 Days of Activism on Violence Against Women campaign, will take place on December 3.

The duo will be accompanied by their four talented daughters, largely known as the Egyptian Queen (EQ), adding an extra entertainment dimension to the popular repertoire of Womack & Womack.

The Love Connection Concert is coordinated by Moerane Event Productions in association with Carnival City.

The concert is sure to take the audience on a joyous and unforgettable trip down memory lane with a collection of classics.

The twosome, Bobby and Linda Womack, will be making their first appearance in South Africa.

Strongly condemning the abuse of women, the singing lovebirds, who have been married for more than two decades, want to make their visit to the country a meaningful one by adding their voice to the 16 Days of Activism campaign which runs between November 25 and December 10).
