After losing 0-1 to University of Pretoria in their opening National First Division Inland Stream encounter, Witbank Spurs are aiming to redeem themselves at the expense of Winnerspark.

The sides clash at Seshego Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday.

Kickoff is at 3pm.

Cyprian Maimane, Spurs coach, said they were unlucky not to get the maximum points against Amatuks.

"We played well against Amatuks and we dominated the game but failed to find the back of the net," he said.

"We have since put that defeat behind us and the boys have regrouped and are looking forward to the game against Park."

Maimane said this season they intended to do better than last season's eight spot finish.

"We are aiming for the Platinum playoffs or more than that."

Spurs have received a big boost ahead of this encounter against Park with news that all their seven new recruits are now eligible to play.

The players are Democratic Republic of Congo goalkeeper Kanakondi Mutshi, midfielders Thomas "Disco" Matodzi and Mduduzi Mathibela from Black Leopards, former Benoni Premier United defender Sipho Shabalala, Eva Kedi, a defender from Bloemfontein Celtic reserves.

Their two new strikers are Lungelo Yekiso from Eastern Cape Vodacom side Blackburn Rovers and Rooi Mahamutsa, ex-PJ Stars.

Winnerspark come into this game boosted by the single point they pocketed away from home when they drew 0-0 against GaRankuwa United.

Dan "Dance" Malesela, Winnerspark's coach, said: "We will perform to the best of our abilities. Obviously one is hoping to get maximum points, especially being our first home official game of the season."

Park will be without striker Delph Kheswa, who was red-carded against United while Spurs will be minus Joseph Phahlane, who is nursing a knee injury.
