Amajita are planning to start negotiating with Premiership and First Division clubs over the release of players for the Metropolitan Under-20 Cup.
This was said by coach Serame Letsoaka after playing to a goalless draw with the Lesotho under-20 national team at Setsoto Stadium in Maseru on Friday.
"We are going to start negotiating with the clubs because the majority of the boys that we are using have been signed by professional clubs," said Letsoaka.
"I'm referring to players who represented Majimbos [under-17 national team] at the African Under-17 Championships in Gambia in 2005.
"I will be discussing the matter with the manager [Winston Marumo] once we have finalised the names of the youngsters we will be calling up for the tournament.
"We need the strongest possible team. Pressure is on us as the hosts and reigning champions. The plan is for the title to remain in South Africa."
Some of the boys from the Gambia tournament include Tlou Molekwane, Tumelo Tlou, Tumelo Nhlapo, Jackson Mabokgwane and Woelf Keamogetse.
Letsoaka said he would have a long training camp, starting on November 20, to finalise their preparations for the tournament scheduled for Nelspruit.
"Our biggest challenge at this stage is the final exams, we won't be doing anything until after mid- November to enable the boys to focus on their studies. The next camp will be two weeks before the Cosafa Under-20 Cup."
