A Johannesburg Metro police chief, accused of raping his female colleague had his case postponed yet again yesterday.

A Johannesburg Metro police chief, accused of raping his female colleague had his case postponed yet again yesterday.

JMPD chief of internal affairs Amon Kganyago, 46, made his fifth appearance in the Johannesburg magistrate's court since his arrest in July.

Prosecutor Bernice Abrams asked the court to postpone the matter to allow further police investigations.

He will stand trial on October 5.
