For parents to deprive their children of an opportunity to study in a state-of-the-art school citing homesickness or claims that they are being ill-treated by fellow pupils is totally unreasonable.

Anyone who went to boarding school in the 1980s and early 1990s will know how tough it was to be more than 200km away from home for three months or more and treated badly because you are a Lenywere - newcomer.

But we didn't quit and it made us better people. Parents must stop being unreasonable and tell their children to toughen up.
