Limpopo police said yesterday they were waiting for DNA results to help determine if the spate of deaths in Modimolle were the work of a serial killer.

Blood samples have been taken from suspects to check if they were involved in the deaths of about seven children aged between three and 13 years. The children were killed between 2004 and March this year.

Four of the children are still missing.

Superintendent Motlafela Mojapelo said the test results would go a long way in helping the police in their investigations.
