David Radebe's goal helped Bidvest Wits earn maximum points against SuperSport United at Super Stadium in Atteridgeville on Saturday.

SuperSport, under coach Gavin Hunt who joined them this season after Pitso Mosimane left the Tswane-based club to be assistant to Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Parreira, registered their third defeat from five league games.

Radebe scored in the 26th minute from Dennis Masina's corner.

Wits were clearly the better team, constructing the better chances, particularly in the first half, with Calvin Sosibo causing all sorts of problems to the home defence.

United started the second half like a house on fire, but to be let down by their lazy striker Katlego Mphela. Mphela should have equalised or scored more than two goals in the second stanza.

Hunt's side were dealt a huge blow in the 58th minute when their number one keeper Denis Onyango was substituted by Andre Arendse because of injury. - Sapa
