The bail application of the Ekurhuleni metro police officer who allegedly sold ammunition and firearms to heist gangs has been postponed again.

Richard Msibi's new lawyer asked for a postponement to familiarise himself with the case and client. The case was postponed for today in the Germiston magistrates' court.

Msibi faces charges of unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition. He was arrested two weeks ago for allegedly trying to sell ammunition at a hostel in Actonville, Benoni.
