Limpopo Premier Sello Moloto's spokesman Lucky Mohale Nchabeleng tied the knot yesterday during a ceremony held at Ga-Nchabeleng village in the Sekhukhune area.

The 33-year-old Nchabeleng married Mashigo Seepe, 31, of Ga-Mohashwa, also in Sekhukhune.

The well-attended ceremony was characterised by laughter from jokes cracked by the two programme directors, Mpho Tsedu and Piggy Matlala.

The wedding was attended by, among others, chief executive officer of the Limpopo Tourism and Parks and Limpopo ANC spokesman Benny Boshielo, Limpopo ANC youth league chairman Joshua Matlou, chairman of the Limpopo House of Traditional Leaders Sefegole Makgeru and leading businessman Peter Mokgaphama.

Nchabeleng and Seepe met at Sekhukhune College of Education while training as teachers in 1995. Since then, the two had become inseparable.

In 1999, after four years of courtship, Nchabeleng sent his parents to Seepe's family to start ilobolo negotiations.

Seepe was pregnant at the time and a year later they were blessed with a baby girl.

In 2004, Nchabeleng was appointed spokesman for Sello Moloto. A month later, he was gifted with another baby.

In August this year, Nchabeleng was promoted to acting spokesman for the Limpopo government, while at the same time working as Moloto's spokesman.
