Kwaito Nation will host a discussion entitled Masijule Ngenxonxo Mzansi at the Gauteng legislature on Monday.
The discussion revolves around the celebration of diversity and South African cultural history. The theme is: celebrating poetry against the backdrop of Heritage Day celebrations.
Artists who will help people to digest the message include Sipho Hotstix Mabuse, Antonio Lyons, Doc Shebeleza, Gcina Mhlope, Rudeboy Paul and Napo Mashiane.
For an enlightening and fun time, come to the corner of Loveday and President streets in Johannesburg on September 25 at 3pm.
Zindala Zombili African Music and Dance Festival, which evokes pride in our cultural heritage, will host the biggest festival of traditional music and dance at the Thokozo Auditorium in Khumalo Street, Thokoza, on Sunday from 10am.
For Heritage Month, the African Cultural Heritage Trust will have a massive cultural celebration, a culmination of three months of regional competitions in Sedibeng, Mogale City, Tshwane and Soweto. It is from these regional competitions that the cream- of-the-crop acts will fight it out for prestigious championships titles in eight different categories.
l The Zindala Zombili Gauteng Provincial Festival will showcase Umzansi, Dinaka, Tshigombela and Mohobelo. The festival is free.
l The North West Cultural Calabash Festival starts today at the Taung Sports Ground where Malaika, Rebecca Malope, Metswako and KB will perform at 6pm.
