Sony Fevapitch kicks-off in Gauteng tomorrow at the Southgate Shopping Centre before moving to Cape Town's Camps Bay High School sports fields next week.

The roadshow will then travel to the George Campbell High School in Durban on November 24 and 25 to add to the excitement of the Fifa World Cup preliminary draw taking place in the city on November 25. The Durban regional final will bring the preliminary games to an end.

The winning teams from the three cities will then compete in the Sony Fevapitch finals taking place at the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton on Tuesday, November 27 with the grand finale scheduled for 7.30pm the next day, which will coincide with the SoccerEx exhibition.

A total 32 amateur teams, playing a knockout tournament, will compete in each preliminary round. Each game will last 20 minutes, with a three minute half-time. Former Bafana Bafana captain and Kaizer Chiefs player, Neil Tovey, will be the tournament director. He has further put together a team of legends such as Steve Crowley, Mark Fish, Eddie Motale, Doc Khumalo, Bashin Mhlangu, Marc Batchelor and Mark Williams. - Sello Rabothata
