Police will today release an identikit of the serial killer who has so far strangled five women and left their bodies scattered in a sugar cane field on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast.

Police will today release an identikit of the serial killer who has so far strangled five women and left their bodies scattered in a sugar cane field on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast.

Thanks to information from a victim who managed to escape death at the hands of the killer and the local community, detectives are able to release his picture.

Police spokesman Zandra Hechter said detectives are following several leads on the case, but they are confident that they have a description of the suspect. - Canaan Mdletshe
