Rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, pictured, has slammed ad executives who banned a commercial for his Unforgivable fragrance - by releasing a three-minute version of the controversial commercial online.

The ad for Unforgivable, which was due to air this week, was banned from US TV earlier this month, after it was deemed too explicit for audiences.

The saucy ad depicts the I'll Be Missing You star in a stairwell and hotel room "hiking up" a model's skirt and putting his hands under her dress. Another scene shows a woman holding the model's breast and pulling down her underwear.

Trading standards officials requested that Combs edit the offending commercial before they would agree to it being aired. However, the star has now released an extended three-minute cut of the controversial ad on MySpace.com.

Combs issued an accompanying statement, saying: "I feel strongly that this movie needs to be viewed and judged by the public rather than by executives.

"Some people may be uncomfortable with the sensuality and sexual content, but it is important for them to make that decision personally."

It follows controversy last year, when print ads for Unforgivable were deemed too raunchy for city bus stops and department stores, forcing the rapper to re-shoot the images. - Wenn
