Double award scoop for sexy superstars

Pop superstar Justin Timberlake and R&B beauty Rihanna each collected two awards at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Pop superstar Justin Timberlake and R&B beauty Rihanna each collected two awards at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday.

The SexyBack hitmaker, below, scooped the Male Artist of the Year award and a prize for Quadruple Threat of the Year.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Rihanna, left, was awarded Video of the Year and Monster Single of the Year, both for her hit summer track Umbrella.

Black Eyed Peas star Fergie beat Rihanna and Beyonce to scoop the Female Artist of the Year prize, while the rockers, Gym Class Heroes, picked up the prize for Best New Artist.

Fall Out Boy won the Best Group Awards ahead of nominees Gym Class Heroes, The White Stripes, Maroon 5 and Linkin Park.

Monster Single of the Year: Umbrella by Rihanna; Quadruple Threat of the Year: Justin Timberlake; Best Collaboration: Beautiful Liar by Beyonce featuring Shakira; Male Artist of the Year: Justin Timberlake; Female Artist of the Year: Fergie Best; New Artist: Gym Class Heroes; Best Group: Fall Out Boy; Video of the Year: Umbrella by Rihanna. - Wenn
