Service delivery has created a lot of tension within communities and leaders have not bothered to clearly explain the situation.

I want to know from those who are supposed to provide service what it is exactly that is hindering service delivery. Without condoning violence, I do understand community frustrations but it is because no one is coming forth with answers.

The media has not done enough to cover service delivery within these communities and that has an affect on reactions from the municipalities.

For example, the upgrading of the road from Tshilamba to Tshixwadza was the worst project I have ever seen in my life. As to what the objectives were of upgrading the road in such a manner, one ponders. I have grown up knowing dangerous spots on the road but there is no intervention. Are they waiting for violence?

Poor service delivery within municipalities must be exposed. Corruption has been blamed for poor service delivery but I believe it is not the only problem. There is a lot of incompetence, negligence and arrogance among officials.

I also urge the communities to open up and complain about poor service.

It is tiring to hear of apartheid excuses every day.

South Africans stand up and make those responsible account for their deeds.
