Andrew Dzambukeri, the Mpumalanga farmer accused of tying his employee to a cow, appeared in the magistrates' court in Thulamahashe on Monday.
He was not asked to plead and was granted R1000 bail pending his next court appearance on October 9.
He allegedly tied July Mathumbu, 43, to the horns of the cow, that dragged and kicked him.
