Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira was yesterday expected to start camp in Cape Town.

Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira was yesterday expected to start camp in Cape Town.

Due to land with the coach were Johannesburg-based players with most of the other players expected to arrive in the Mother City today and tomorrow.

Bafana Bafana face Zambia for their Africa Cup of Nations 2008 qualifier in the Mother City on Sunday.

The players were to include Kaizer Chiefs captain Cyril Nzama, Teko Modise of Orlando Pirates and Bevan Fransman of Moroka Swallows.

They were later to be joined by Papi Zothwane of Lamontville Golden Arrows.

Among the Capetonians Brett Evans and Thembinkosi Fanteni of Ajax Cape Town were also expected to be at the camp.

In the meantime, overseas-based players are expected to arrive today and tomorrow, with Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy scheduled to arrive in Cape Town tomorrow morning.
