SuperSport United assistant coach Thomas Madigage is wary of the surprise factor awaiting his team in their Castle Premiership game against Benoni Premier United tomorrow.

The Rabbits were recently sold to new owners, and are said to have former Sierra Leone and Democratic Republic of Congo coach Roger Palmgren as their coach, with Johan Eriksson assisting.

Little else is known about the situation in that camp and attempts to talk to someone there have been fruitless. It is this mysterious state of affairs that has Madigage worried.

"We have here a team with new owners, management, coach and players, which to us spells danger," Madigage said.

"We have no clue what we are coming up against and therefore can't really plan, besides concentrating on what we do have control over, which is to improve on the way we have been playing. We started on a wobble, giving away three points to Black Leopards in our opening game."

He said he was heartened by how Matsatsantsa a Pitoli managed to show grit by knocking Moroka Swallows out of the SAA Supa 8 quarterfinal after the league setback.

But Madigage was unhappy that despite this being a United home game, it will take place at Germiston stadium.

"This effectively gives the opposition our home groud advantage and is unfortunate.

"With Super Stadium [Atteridgeville] still under construction and Loftus primarily belonging to rugby, it is very difficult for us," Madigage said.

Gavin Hunt's team are likely to have Andre Arendse between the posts, but defender Thabo September is out injured and will be out for about a month.

The Premier Soccer League yesterday announced dates and venues for the SAA Supa 8 semifinal matches:

August 29 - Jomo Cosmos v Mamelodi Sundowns,

Peter Mokaba Stadium at 7.30pm; August 30 - Orlando Pirates v SuperSport United, Kingspark Rugby Stadium at 7.30pm
