No motor manufacturer wants to be left behind in the game of improving quality, and to a certain degree affordability, in their products.

Thus Honda added another engine to their Accord range.

The new Accord 2,0 i-VTEC will become the most affordable model in the range, while still offering an impressive mix of luxury, space, performance and value.

The new derivative will be available with a choice of five-speed manual or automatic transmissions, and brings the roominess, dynamism and upmarket appeal of the Accord to a broader motoring audience.

The four-cylinder, 2,0-litre VTEC power plant delivers 114kW of maximum power and 190Nm of torque.

It comes standard with a five-year/100000km service plan, and three-year/100000km warranty and a one-year roadside assistance package.

The Accord 2-0 litre is priced at R225900 for the manual, while the automatic goes for R237900.
