The annual Tribute Concert scheduled to take place at Moretele Park, Pretoria, on August 26 has been postponed.

The festival will now take place on December 2 at the same venue.

According to Drakensberg Promotions, the event was delayed due to extensive renovations at Moretele Park.

The Tribute Concert boasted a rich line-up that was to have included Caiphus Semenya, Freshly Ground, Don Laka, Bhudaza, Judith Sephuma, Simphiwe Dana, Mafikizolo, Kelly Khumalo, Siphokazi, Wadee, Jonas Gwangwa, Jimmy Dludlu, Ringo Madlingozi, Vusi Mahlasela, Ntando and Malaika among others.

Now a new line-up for the concert will be announced closer to the event.

Music lovers who have already bought tickets to the concert on August 26 can exchange them for the December 2 event or get refunds at Computicket or Shoprite Checkers.

The Tribute Concert is claimed to be one of the biggest single-day music festivals in South Africa and attracts more than 40000 people annually.
