The owners of legal firm Lavely & Singer filed suit in Los Angeles superior court on Tuesday, claiming they set up a payment plan for the Thriller hitmaker to pay off his R1,32million debt, but he failed to make the final payment.

In June, Jackson was sued by a Delaware law firm for more than R734000 in unpaid fees over their negotiations with a concert promoter.
