A doctor who wrote a letter to Mbeki, accusing health minister Manto Tshabala-Msimang of turning a blind eye to the crisis at Frere Hospital, has been suspended.

Nokuzola Ntshona yester day said that Luvuyo Mosana, the chief executive of the hospital , suspended her on Monday "for talking to the media".
