This has happened during the month set aside for the women of this country and in particular; brave women such as her.
We cannot enter the fray surrounding her dismissal because it might be related to the ongoing fierce succession in-fighting in the ruling party.
We would like to salute Madlala-Routledge because she was a symbol of hope for the many people infected and affected by HIV-Aids.
She was committed to the cause of fighting this dreadful scourge that is paralysing our nation in general and the youth in particular.
We believe this latest development will not end Madlala-Routledge's career and her determination to fight the pandemic.
Rather it will provide her with a different and better platform to unleash all the other arsenals against HIV-Aids.
Had she been the minister of health, we believe she would undoubtedly have done better.
She would have made a tremendous breakthrough in the mission to alleviate the spread of HIV-Aids.
