Ten people, including four policemen, were injured when three vehicles collided on the Golden Highway in Vanderbijlpark at the weekend.

Vaal Rand police spokesman Captain Veli Mcera said the four officers were travelling in a marked police vehicle when their car collided with two other vehicles on Sunday evening.

He said the four policemen, from Evaton, were on duty at the time.

All the injured people were taken to hospitals in the Vaal.

The policemen were taken to Inkanyezi and Sebokeng hospitals.

One of them was discharged the same night.
