Many people have been asking if the National Prosecuting Authority should prosecute Adriaan Vlok and Johann van der Merwe for their roles in apartheid?

Many people have been asking if the National Prosecuting Authority should prosecute Adriaan Vlok and Johann van der Merwe for their roles in apartheid?

My answer is yes.

Why?

Because these men were responsible for a crime against humanity.

Apartheid architects can never justify their murderous schemes.

And people who say that those who fought apartheid and those who defended the evil system are the same are completely wrong.

People who are saying the NPA must not prosecute apartheid perpetrators have either never suffered under that system or they do not understand what apartheid did to the oppressed majority.

People were imprisoned and killed for no reason other than for wanting to put an end to the unjust system.

I cannot understand how some people can say that individuals who planned and carried out such terrible actions against the majority of South Africans must walk free and the nation must forget what happened.

Vlok and Van der Merwe propped up apartheid and the law must take its course.
