This is a democratic country where there is only one rule of law for all citizens and regions.

I find it hypocritical that the attire worn by young women of the Zulu nation before the missionaries arrived was not an issue, although it exposed most of their bodies.

The missionaries decided that men should wear trousers and women should wear dresses. It is very interesting to note the ibheshu that the men wore resembles a dress.

Now we have some men who claim that trousers belong only to them. The people who brought trousers to Zululand and elsewhere in Africa must be laughing at us for abusing our women for wearing what is not originally ours.

These misguided men must stop embarrassing us.
