Khutsong issue stolen by thugs

Khutsong has been taken over by thugs masquerading as revolutionaries.

Khutsong has been taken over by thugs masquerading as revolutionaries.

It has never made sense why the ruling party has demarcated our country into some little federal states.

There was never a need to create so many artificial mini- states. Now the thugs in Khutsong take advantage of this federal states arrangement.

What started as some concerned residents' refusal to be moved from Gauteng to North West has now deteriorated into complete anarchy, assaults and intimidation of those with divergent views, unjustifiable destruction of property and the burning down of schools.

It is unbelievable that throughout Khutsong, there seem to be no alternative voices about this ongoing madness. It is sickening to hear those who are claiming to be leading the community, pronounce that they condemn any form of violence. That is not enough. If there are any intelligent and sober-minded leaders in Khutsong, we want them to stand up and expose all the thugs behind the destruction.

The call made by the Azanian People's Organisation to abolish the nine provinces, should be seriously considered. Some of us have consistently maintained that these provinces are nothing but glorified bantustans with redefined boundaries.
