State-owned oil and gas producer PetroSA closed its 36000-barrel-a-day Mossel Bay gas-to-liquid plant yesterday because of a strike. More than 20000 workers had downed tools at companies in the pharmaceutical, tissue, glass and cardboard industries on Monday, the Chemical, Energy, Paper, Printing, Wood and Allied Workers' Union commented -- Reuters
