ARZOO, Afghanistan - Afghan authorities yesterday recovered the body of a second South Korean shot dead by the Taliban.

They threatened to kill more of the 21 hostages if Kabul does not free their prisoners by 5.30am today.

The blood-stained body of Shim Sung-min, 29, was dumped in a field of clover in Arzoo, about 10km from the eastern city of Ghazni.

"If the Kabul administration and Korean government do not give a positive reply to our demand about the release of Taliban prisoners, then we will start killing the other hostages," said Taliban spokesman Qari Mohammad Yousuf. - Reuters
