The five people accused of stealing Winnie Madikizela-Mandela's jewellery worth R4 million had their case postponed again in the Orlando magistrates' court yesterday.

Mbuso Vutela, 47, Nolwazi Githuka, 44, her husband Paul Githuka, 46, and their children Jerry, 19, and Mpumelelo, 21, are accused of committing the theft at Madikizela-Mandela's home in Orlando West, Soweto, in February.

Nolwazi Githuka said the case was putting a strain on her family.

"This is greatly affecting us as a family, but as a mother I have to keep the family together under the circumstances," Githuka said.

The family are all out on bail of R3000 each.
