Respect and ubuntu will uplift our nation

I was concerned after reading Charles Mogale's column about the good white man and the rude black man.

I was concerned after reading Charles Mogale's column about the good white man and the rude black man.

Some blacks do have respect and ubuntu, but those who steal have neither. Some people justify stealing by saying that God helps those who help themselves.

They forget that such actions affect people.

Remember that we reap what we sow. Work, get paid and then buy what we need. We must also stop blaming whites and accusing them of discrimination. The new South Africa demands that we work hard to uplift ourselves and that we unite as a nation.
