Three men were arrested in Pretoria yesterday for possession of unlicensed firearms, police said.

Inspector Paul Ramaloko said police stopped a car with three occupants in Rooihuiskraal, near Pretoria.

On searching the vehicle, police found two pistols with their serial numbers filed off.

The three men from Ivory Park in Ekurhuleni were arrested and will be charged with possession of unlicensed firearms.
