Enemies distort Zim price slash

It seems that the mainstream media is misinforming us on Zimbabwe's price controls and monitoring activities.

It seems that the mainstream media is misinforming us on Zimbabwe's price controls and monitoring activities.

Only a month ago the media condemned President Robert Mugabe and his government for not putting an end to the escalating prices. Now it is slamming the government for taking action.

Furthermore, the US ambassador to Zimbabwe, Christopher Dell, hailed the West's sanctions and predicted that Zanu-PF would collapse before the end of the year.

In parrot fashion, the MDC sings the West's tune by lamenting price controls which in my opinion are meant to protect citizens from being milked by greedy and selfish businesses.

Zanu-PF is serious about controlling prices, but is demonised by proponents of regime change.

Price control seems to be welcomed by Zimbabweans, judging from the queues in supermarkets.

Only the MDC and ironically the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions, which is supposed to represent workers, do not appreciate Zanu-PF's strategy.

Surprisingly, even foreign business did not object when they were arrested. It's a pity that regime-change advocates predict chaos instead of uniting the conflicting parties.
