It is with sadness and sickness I see what our government is doing.

How can they say 12-year-olds can engage in relationships and sex, and use contraceptives, etc.

Soon children will be taking drugs and alcohol without fear, saying they are adults.

Does this mean having sex with a minor will no longer be considered as statutory rape?

This will also allow teachers to simply have affairs with pupils; but now they will be doing it legally.

I think President Thabo Mbeki and his government are abusing their powers. A child is a child, finish and klaar. The Children's Act must be eradicated.
