The Bulls are out to repair their dented image at the expense of the Lions, who they meet in a Currie Cup derby at Loftus tomorrow.
After their 43-26 win over the Falcons in the opener at Loftus two weeks ago, the Bulls lost 26-18 to Wildeklawer Griquas in Kimberley last weekend.
Tomorrow, the Bulls will go for broke to ensure that they keep their home record intact against the Lions, who registered their first win by walloping the Sharks 14-7 at home last Saturday.
Lions coach Eugene Eloff yesterday said they had prepared well for tomorrow's match against the respected Bulls.
"This is going to be a tough game because the Bulls are the Super 14 champions.
"But my boys will give their best in order to keep their winning momentum,'' said Eloff.
The Lions will be minus loosehead prop Heinke van der Merwe, who got a late call-up from the Springboks and will be replaced by loosehead Kenny Mackenzie.
Eloff said Wylie Human would replace Thabang Molefe, who is suffering from the flu, on the bench.
In another game tomorrow the Cheetahs are expected to extend their unbeaten record when they meet the Griquas at the Free State Stadium.
In today's games, the Falcons face Boland in Brakpan while the Sharks challenge Western Province in Durban.
