Botswana and Cameroon will test each other's strength when they meet in the final of the Sasol Eight Nations Cup at Olen Park in Potchefstroom today at 2.20pm.
But the spotlight will fall on the enterprising Young Zebras who have shown a great deal of competency in their recent matches and the Cameroonians will have to be at their best to overcome them.
Botswana, once again, will be hoping for some neighbourly support from the South Africans and their compatriots who work in the country should also be there in numbers to spur the players on.
Lesotho, who were beaten 2-1 by Cameroon in the semifinal, are also expected to root for Botswana. Clinching the yearly tournament will be crucial for Cameroon as this will put their players in the right frame of mind going into the All Africa Games in Algeria.
Botswana failed to qualify for the AAG after they were beaten by South Africa in the final qualifying match in Gaborone on April 15. The strengths of Botswana's defenders will be tested by the likes of Cameroon's Morocco-based Niend Jean-Michael, Christian Bekamenga and Olle Olle Alain.
Botswana will be without Alphones Modisaotsile at the back after he was sent off for a second bookable offence in their 1-0 win over Ghana in Tuesday's semifinal. But the likes of Gabriel Bothutlo and Mmusa Ohilwe should ensure stability at the back.
Tebogo Sembowa will be eager to find the net against Cameroon to continue where he left off against Ghana in the semifinal.
