In their effort to do well in the Castle Premiership next season, Black Leopards, have renewed ties with former Burundian coach Ramadhan Nsanzurwimo.

Nsanzurwimo has been recalled to assist head coach Boebie Solomons who is adamant Lidoda Duvha will spring surprises in the top flight under his mentorship.

The former Santos and Bidvest West's coach has signed a rare five-season contract with Leopards and has also stressed that he wanted to bring in new players.

"I'm happy to be back in Venda and I'm committed to assist Black Leopards to fare well in the new season," said Nsanzurwimo, who also coached AmaZulu.

Leopards started their pre-season training camp last week and Tshifhiwa Thidiela, the side's publicist, said yesterday they will embark on a series of friendlies to keep the players in good shape for the new season.

"We are still going to meet with the rest of the technical team this week."
