A bail application by one of two brothers charged with the murder of an 11-year-old boy and the attempted murder of seven other people was postponed in the Welbekend magistrates' court yesterday.
Jacobus van der Walt, 37, was earlier refused bail. His sibling Deon, 34, was granted R10000 bail.
Attorney Mpho Masuku asked for the postponement to July 4 after learning that Jacobus was also charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm. - Langelihle Chagwe
