I say this because there has been hardly any improvement in the life of millions of ordinary South Africans.
If we look closely at who's who in politics, we find that most of the politicians have many friends or family members who have been appointed into prestigious positions and jobs.
It seems to me that there is not much difference between the old South Africa and the new, democratic South Africa. There was corruption in the old South Africa and there is still corruption in the new South Africa. The only difference is that there are new people involved in the corruption.
Look closely at who government contracts are given to. The sad part is that many South Africans are unaware, or refuse to accept, that their heroes are corrupt.
If a person is exposed, rest assured that he or she is just a scapegoat because the real culprits get away.
I wish that everyone in South Africa would vote for the DA in the next elections.
I believe that this is the only way to show the ANC that it cannot take people for granted. Just because they are black does not mean that the people of the country will sit back and accept their fate.
